We’re writing to introduce Bromley Well Young Carers, in case you’re not already familiar with our service. We support young people who have caring responsibilities within their home. We support young people who have caring responsibilities, including siblings of children with additional needs who may attend mainstream schools. Our aim is to ensure these young carers are recognized, supported, and celebrated.
Carers Week takes place on 8th – 14th June, and this year’s theme is ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’ It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and celebrate the incredible young carers within your school.
We would greatly appreciate your support in the following ways:
- Sharing information about our service in your school newsletter and around the school.
- Encouraging staff and your school’s social media channels (Instagram) to follow us: BromleyWellYoungCarers.
- Letting us know if you’d be interested in a Young Carers assembly
